What recession? Some dealerships give hope to others for a reprieve from current conditions. At Key Auto Mall – one such example – overall business is good, and the 20-bay service department is booming. The auto mall, which spans two city blocks, is located in Moline, Ill., and has three separate sales showrooms encompassing Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Dodge and Mazda. However, all service is completed in a centralized department managed by Fixed Operations Director Dwight Keller.

Key #1 – Leadership

Over the years, Keller’s built a good reputation and strong relationships with the manufacturers. One example of how he continues to stay in good standing with manufacturers is through the service department’s use of factory coupons in its advertising. Plus, by using the factory coupons, they can “take advantage of the co-op money.”

General Manager Nathan Dietz said the store has always maintained Dealer Self Authorization (Dodge)/Silver Level (Mazda)/Empowered (GM) status, which “basically gives us goodwill authorization for [warranty] claims without calling the manufacturers within a certain time frame.” If a vehicle’s out of warranty, Keller can decide to warranty something. “That makes a big difference. That saves a couple days sometimes,” added Dietz.

He added, “Same with the body shop. We can warranty paint without waiting for somebody [from the manufacturer] to come down. A lot of that is because of [Keller’s] reputation. With [Keller] coming from a history of being a mechanic himself, he understands the importance of getting parts to the mechanics as soon as possible. They’re not standing around. They’re not waiting.”

Key #2 – Upselling

When it comes to measuring hours per repair order (RO), Keller dissects the numbers for each advisor. The department’s top performer averages 3.5 hours per RO, with the second advisor averaging 2.8 hours per RO and the third 2.0. If those numbers sound high, that’s because they are. According to Bill Horgan, director of training for DealerPro Solutions, the industry average is around 1.5 hours per RO.

Keller brought in trainer Vince DeSalvo of DealerPro to work with his service department to improve upselling. While they worked mostly with the advisors, Keller said, “We got the techs involved more in helping upsell.” The technicians are expected to perform complete inspections on every vehicle, and Keller motivates them with a dice game that rewards them on completed inspections that result in additional service work. Technicians get one dice roll for each inspection upsell over $25, and each roll dictates a cash bonus. The bonus amount varies day by day, but on March 11, 2009, for example, two technicians rolled the dice and split about $100 in bonuses.

While technicians work to identify potential sales opportunities, a well-trained and skilled team of advisors is what converts those opportunities into sales and gross profit. Keller said, “Usually if you’re at 30 percent [conversion] on upsells, you’re pretty good.”

Dietz added that current dealership reports show 57 percent of their ROs have some type of upsell that was converted. “In ‘08, parts and labor sales were 78 percent above ‘07, and this year the department is tracking a lot better [than ‘08].”

Key #3 – Productivity

Keller’s days as a technician shed light on ways to improve technician productivity. He often felt like training was lacking, so he makes sure Key Auto’s 10 technicians get more than enough training, whether it be Web-based training or offsite manufacturer training in Chicago. He said, “We do extensive training because … if technicians are not up to date, they’re going to struggle getting things fixed. I spent a lot of money just last month on training. Sometimes I probably send them too often, but I’d rather have them knowing more than have them struggle. If they’re struggling, it’s taking longer to get a vehicle fixed or inconveniencing somebody.”

He also understands how access to up-to-date equipment can impact technician productivity. When he joined the staff at Key Auto, Keller said, “They had an alignment machine that looked like it was from the 1950s … Some of the equipment [I purchased for the department] has helped boost productivity because some of the equipment they had was either in poor shape or so outdated it wasn’t user-friendly.”

To further boost productivity, Key Auto employs a service/dispatcher foreman. After an advisor writes up a repair order, it is given to the foreman, who puts it on a board so everyone can track its progress. The foreman adjusts workloads throughout the day to maximize everyone’s time. “Our foreman is dedicated to making sure the cars are in, fixed and back to the advisor, so the customers can be notified as quickly as possible,” said Keller.

Dietz added that the foreman knows “which mechanics work on what better and which mechanics can get things in and out” and can appropriately assign work. Because the service foreman understands how parts delivery affects productivity, he will even get parts if the dealership’s parts staff is busy.

Improving the productivity of the parts department has also been an area of concentration for Keller. If the parts inventory is off kilter, some repair orders take longer than necessary to complete due to special ordering, and special orders can lead to increased parts obsolescence due to the inability to get the customer back to the dealership. Both scenarios can be costly. Keller’s been working on improving parts obsolescence for the past three years. When he hired a new parts manager a few years ago, Keller said, “We actually incentivized him to get that back where it belongs.” While it has improved, it’s an ongoing project.

So, what does a productive staff of technicians, a well-trained team of advisors and an all-star fixed ops director do for Key Auto Mall? These three keys unlock the door to customer satisfaction, repeat business and recognition from the manufacturers. The service department has won several awards, including GM’s Mark of Excellence Award and Mazda’s Full Circle Award. Dietz said with a chuckle, “I don’t think there’s an award we haven’t won in service yet.”

Retiree dies in police custody after traffic stop

Florida authorities are investigating the death of a man in Key West after he was arrested by police.

The Michigan retiree moved to the island paradise for sun and sand, but that came to a sudden end after a routine traffic stop.

Key West is known for its relaxed, worry-free manner, but one family is raising concerns about city police after conflicting reports of Charles Eimers’ death.

At the southern tip of Florida lies an island paradise, best known for its beaches, bars and laid-back lifestyle. It was a dream retirement for Eimers, 61, after more than 20 years as an autoworker, CBS News’ Elaine Quijano reports.

Treavor Eimers, Charles Eimers’ son, said, “He wanted to come south to warmer weather and walk on the beach.”

It was a dream that proved deadly after a Thanksgiving Day encounter with Key West police.

Treavor Eimers said, “He was murdered by those officers.”

Asked if he believes there was a cover-up, Treavor Eimers said, “In the aftermath, yeah, definitely.”

Eimers had just arrived from Michigan when Key West police pulled him over in front of a Pizza Hut for reckless driving. According to police, he fled the scene and several officers followed him to a beach.

Though Eimers had previous run-ins the with the law, including arrests for domestic abuse and theft back in the ’90s, Treavor Eimers can’t understand how a routine traffic stop led to his father’s death.

Official documents obtained by CBS News offer differing accounts of Eimers’ encounter with police and what happened next. In the police report, Eimers was charged with resisting an officer “with violence.”

But officers on the scene told paramedics a different story. An EMS report indicates Key West police told paramedics that Eimers left his vehicle and ran, then collapsed on the beach. He never regained consciousness.

Hospital records say that Eimers “was found without a pulse by police” and later died at the hospital from lack of oxygen to the brain.

But a cell phone video – shot by a bystander and released nearly two weeks after the arrest – shows none of those versions are accurate. Eimers can be seen walking away from his car and surrendering before police approach with guns drawn.

Treavor Eimers said, “I watched the video, and I had no words. Everything that I was told while I was here was a lie.”

Key West Police Chief Donald Lee Jr. said, “We need to investigate. We need to get the facts and then, you know, deal with those facts, whatever they may be.”

There are other indications that Key West police did not follow proper procedures after taking Eimers into custody.

Even though police and the hospital had Eimers’ information – his address and driver’s license were listed on their reports – his family was not notified until four days after Eimers was transported unconscious from the beach to the hospital and put on life support.

A detective present during the incident had been tasked with notifying the family, but he did not. When his supervisors asked why, he said it was because Eimers hadn’t died yet.

Treavor Eimers, a former critical care nurse, told doctors to take Eimers off life support.

Asked what he thought would happen next, Treavor Eimers said, “I didn’t even wonder or ask questions about an autopsy. I just believed that that was going to happen.”

Under Florida law, an autopsy is required on anyone who dies in police custody. But Eimers almost didn’t get one. Instead of being sent to the medical examiner’s office, his body ended up at a funeral home and was almost cremated.

Police Chief Lee admits that’s not normal protocol.

“Law enforcement would notify, usually, probably the medical examiner,” he said. “But, again, without knowing exactly what happened, I’d hate to speculate.”

When an autopsy was finally performed, initial results showed Eimers had 10 fractured ribs and bruises and abrasions on his wrists from handcuffs.

Eimers’ family said the hospital and the medical examiner both told them that there were no signs of a heart attack.

Treavor Eimers said, “I believe that my father was asphyxiated on the beach in Key West by the officers involved that day.”

Five days after the incident, several officers submitted supplemental reports emphasizing that Eimers resisted arrest – so much that one “officer’s finger got caught in the handcuffs” during the struggle.

Lee said, “We want to be able to provide answers to the Eimers family. We want to provide answers to this community. And we want the police officers who are involved to be able to move on from this situation as well.”

Treavor Eimers said, “We miss our dad; we miss him a lot. My dad may not be able to say anything now, but he’s speaking loud and clear.”

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has opened an investigation into the case, but the family is raising concerns about a possible conflict of interest, Quijano reports. The state’s lead investigator used to be married to the supervisor of the officers involved. All of those officers are still on active duty.

In response to this report, Key West police issued the following statement:

The department cannot comment on an open investigation. Until FDLE completes its investigation regarding the December 2013 death of Charles Eimers, the Key West Police Department will continue to refrain from speculation.

Once the FDLE makes its criminal findings, the Key West Police Department will then conduct an internal affairs investigation to ensure that the officers involved conducted themselves within the policies of the department.

The department is anxious to see this investigation completed so that we can provide answers to the Eimers family and to the community.

Pending completion of the FDLE investigation, the Eimers family is waiting for answers, unable to even collect life insurance until the official report is released. Eimers’ children hired attorneys who have filed a lawsuit against the Key West Police Department and the officers involved, but those attorneys are still seeking access to dashboard camera videos from police and the witnesses who were at a nearby restaurant that Thanksgiving Day.

Lead attorney and Key West native Darren Horan, with the law firm Horan, Wallace and Higgins, told CBS News he understands why some witnesses might be afraid to come forward.

“At first, we were hesitant to take the case,” said Horan. “We’re a small island, a small bubble. It’s one of those things where there’s always a fear of what could possibly happen if you get involved. There were a few days of discussion and realized if anyone was going to do it, it had to be us.”

Treavor Eimers hopes people will hear his father’s story and come forward.

“I would say that if you were there or you have video or you had any personal contact with that situation on the beach that day,” said Treavor Eimers, “please come forward and make a difference for my father, for his children, for his brothers and sisters, for every life he ever touched.”

Top 10 Guidelines for Homepage Usability

Summary: A company s homepage is its face to the world and the starting point for most user visits. Improving your homepage multiplies the entire website s business value, so following key guidelines for homepage usability is well worth the investment.

Homepages are the most valuable real estate in the world. Each year, companies and individuals funnel millions of dollars through a space that’s not even a square foot in size. For good reason. A homepage’s impact on a company’s bottom line is far greater than simple measures of e-commerce revenues: The homepage is your company’s face to the world. Increasingly, potential customers will look at your company’s online presence before doing business with you — regardless of whether they plan to close the actual sale online. (Update: our studies of B2B usability found that this is the predominant behavior of business users.)

The homepage is the most important page on most websites. and gets more page views than any other page. Of course, users don’t always enter a website from the homepage. A website is like a house in which every window is also a door: People can follow links from search engines and other websites that reach deep inside your site. However, one of the first things these users do after arriving at a new site is go to the homepage. Deep linking is very useful, but it doesn’t give users the site overview a homepage offers — if the homepage design follows strong usability guidelines, that is.

Following are ten things you can do to increase the usability of your homepage and thus enhance your website’s business value.

Make the Site’s Purpose Clear: Explain Who You Are and What You Do

1. Include a one-sentence tagline

Start the page with a tagline that summarizes what the site or company does, especially if you’re new or less than famous. Even well-known companies presumably hope to attract new customers and should tell first-time visitors about the site’s purpose. It is especially important to have a good tagline if your company’s general marketing slogan is bland and fails to tell users what they’ll gain from visiting the site.

2. Write a window title with good visibility in search engines and bookmark lists

Begin the TITLE tag with the company name, followed by a brief description of the site. Don’t start with words like “The” or “Welcome to” unless you want to be alphabetized under “T” or “W.”

3. Group all corporate information in one distinct area

Finding out about the company is rarely a user’s first task, but sometimes people do need details about who you are. Good corporate information is especially important if the site hopes to support recruiting, investor relations. or PR. but it can also serve to increase a new or lesser-known company’s credibility. An “About company-name ” section is the best way to link users to more in-depth information than can be presented on the homepage. (See also my report on usability guidelines for the design of “about us” areas of corporate websites .)

Help Users Find What They Need

4. Emphasize the site’s top high-priority tasks

Your homepage should offer users clear starting points for the main 1–4 tasks they’ll undertake when visiting your site.

5. Include a search input box

Search is an important part of any big website. When users want to search, they typically scan the homepage looking for “the little box where I can type,” so your search should be a box. [Make your search box at least 25 characters wide,] so it can accommodate multiple words without obscuring parts of the user’s query.

(Update: Based on more recent findings, my recommendation is now to make the search box 27 characters wide. This and other new guidelines are covered in our course on Top Web UX Design Guidelines at the annual UX Conference .)

Reveal Site Content

6. Show examples of real site content

Don’t just describe what lies beneath the homepage. Specifics beat abstractions. and you have good stuff. Show some of your best or most recent content.

7. Begin link names with the most important keyword

Users scan down the page, trying to find the area that will serve their current goal. Links are the action items on a homepage, and when you start each link with a relevant word. you make it easier for scanning eyes to differentiate it from other links on the page. A common violation of this guideline is to start all links with the company name, which adds little value and impairs users’ ability to find what they need quickly.

8. Offer easy access to recent homepage features

Users will often remember articles, products, or promotions that were featured prominently on the homepage, but they won’t know how to find them once you move the features inside the site. To help users locate key items, keep a short list of recent features on the homepage, and supplement it with a link to a permanent archive of all other homepage features.

Use Visual Design to Enhance, not Define, Interaction Design

9. Don’t over-format critical content, such as navigation areas

You might think that important homepage items require elaborate illustrations, boxes, and colors. However, users often dismiss graphics as ads and focus on the parts of the homepage that look more likely to be useful.

10. Use meaningful graphics

Don’t just decorate the page with stock art. Images are powerful communicators when they show items of interest to users, but they will backfire if they seem frivolous or irrelevant. For example, it’s almost always best to show photos of real people actually connected to the topic. rather than pictures of models.

Securely locked away, your keys and alarm codes will be in safe hands. For swift access, with insider knowledge of your premises, we will log all keys in and out, advising the appropriate personnel at all times. All of which means you can get your doors opened when you want to and keep them closed when you need to.

Alarm Response

Linked to our Key Holding service, our Alarm Response measures protect you around the clock. As soon as your alarm receiving centre gets the signal, we will be on our way, often reaching your premises before the Police:

  • We use uniformed Response Officers and liveried vehicles
  • We carry out checks for intruders, damage and signs of forced entry.
  • We make your premises safe
  • We call in your preferred locksmiths or glaziers
  • We liaise with the Emergency Services.

24/7 Security

Our Security Officers are closely supervised and ably supported by their Team Leaders and Managers. Crear la base de datos

Una base de datos en un sistema relacional estпїЅ compuesta por un conjunto de tablas, que corresponden a las relaciones del modelo relacional. En la terminologпїЅa usada en SQL no se alude a las relaciones, del mismo modo que no se usa el tпїЅrmino atributo, pero sпїЅ la palabra columna, y no se habla de tupla, sino de lпїЅnea. A continuaciпїЅn se usarпїЅn indistintamente ambas terminologпїЅas, por lo que tabla estarпїЅ en lugar de relaciпїЅn, columna en el de atributo y lпїЅnea en el de tupla, y viceversa.
PrпїЅcticamente, la creaciпїЅn de la base de datos consiste en la creaciпїЅn de las tablas que la componen. En realidad, antes de poder proceder a la creaciпїЅn de las tablas, normalmente hay que crear la base de datos, lo que a menudo significa definir un espacio de nombres separado para cada conjunto de tablas. De esta manera, para una DBMS se pueden gestionar diferentes bases de datos independientes al mismo tiempo sin que se den conflictos con los nombres que se usan en cada una de ellas. El sistema previsto por el estпїЅndar para crear los espacios separados de nombres consiste en usar las instrucciones SQL “CREATE SCHEMA”. A menudo, dicho sistema no se usa (o por lo menos no con los fines y el significado previstos por el estпїЅndar), pero cada DBMS prevпїЅ un procedimiento propietario para crear una base de datos. Normalmente, se amplпїЅa el lenguaje SQL introduciendo una instrucciпїЅn no prevista en el estпїЅndar: “CREATE DATABASE”.
La sintaxis empleada por PostgreSQL, pero tambiпїЅn por las DBMS mпїЅs difundidas, es la siguiente:

CREATE DATABASE nombre_base de datos

Con PostgreSQL estпїЅ a disposiciпїЅn una orden invocable por shell Unix (o por shell del sistema usado), que ejecuta la misma operaciпїЅn:

createdb nombre_base de datos

Para crear nuestra base de datos bibliogrпїЅfica, usaremos pues la orden:

Una vez creada la base de datos, se pueden crear las tablas que la componen. La instrucciпїЅn SQL propuesta para este fin es:

[. nombre_columna tipo_columna [ clпїЅusula_defecto ] [ vпїЅnculos_de_columna ]. ]

nombre_columna. es el nombre de la columna que compone la tabla. SerпїЅa mejor no exagerar con la longitud de los identificadores de columna, puesto que SQL Entry Level prevпїЅ nombres con no mпїЅs de 18 caracteres. ConsпїЅltese, de todos modos, la documentaciпїЅn de la base de datos especпїЅfica. Los nombres tienen que comenzar con un carпїЅcter alfabпїЅtico.

tipo_columna. es la indicaciпїЅn del tipo de dato que la columna podrпїЅ contener. Los principales tipos previstos por el estпїЅndar SQL son:

  • CHARACTER(n)
    Una cadena de longitud fija con exactamente n caracteres. CHARACTER se puede abreviar con CHAR
  • CHARACTER VARYING(n)
    Una cadena de longitud variable con un mпїЅximo de n caracteres. CHARACTER VARYING se puede abreviar con VARCHAR o CHAR VARYING.

  • INTEGER
    Un nпїЅmero estero con signo. Se puede abreviar con INT. La precisiпїЅn, es decir el tamaпїЅo del nпїЅmero entero que se puede memorizar en una columna de este tipo, depende de la implementaciпїЅn de la DBMS en cuestiпїЅn.

  • SMALLINT
    Un nпїЅmero entero con signo y una precisiпїЅn que no sea superior a INTEGER.

  • FLOAT(p)
    Un nпїЅmero con coma mпїЅvil y una precisiпїЅn p. El valor mпїЅximo de p depende de la implementaciпїЅn de la DBMS. Se puede usar FLOAT sin indicar la precisiпїЅn, empleando, por tanto, la precisiпїЅn por defecto, tambiпїЅn пїЅsta dependiente de la implementaciпїЅn. REAL y DOUBLE PRECISION son sinпїЅnimo para un FLOAT con precisiпїЅn concreta. TambiпїЅn en este caso, las precisiones dependen de la implementaciпїЅn, siempre que la precisiпїЅn del primero no sea superior a la del segundo.

  • DECIMAL(p,q)
    Un nпїЅmero con coma fija de por lo menos p cifras y signo, con q cifras despuпїЅs de la coma. DEC es la abreviatura de DECIMAL. DECIMAL(p) es una abreviatura de DECIMAL(p,0). El valor mпїЅximo de p depende de la implementaciпїЅn.

  • INTERVAL
    Un periodo de tiempo (aпїЅos, meses, dпїЅas, horas, minutos, segundos y fracciones de segundo).

  • DATE, TIME y TIMESTAMP
    Un instante temporal preciso. DATE permite indicar el aпїЅo, el mes y el dпїЅa. Con TIME se pueden especificar la hora, los minutos y los segundos. TIMESTAMP es la combinaciпїЅn de los dos anteriores. Los segundos son un nпїЅmero con coma, lo que permite especificar tambiпїЅn fracciones de segundo.

  • clпїЅusula_defecto. indica el valor de defecto que tomarпїЅ la columna si no se le asigna uno explпїЅcitamente en el momento en que se crea la lпїЅnea. La sintaxis que hay que usar es la siguiente:

    donde valor es un valor vпїЅlido para el tipo con el que la columna se ha definido.

    vпїЅnculos_de_columna. son vпїЅnculos de integridad que se aplican a cada atributo concreto. Son:

    • NOT NULL, que indica que la columna no puede tomar el valor NULL.
    • PRIMARY KEY, que indica que la columna es la llave primaria de la tabla.
    • una definiciпїЅn de referencia con la que se indica que la columna es una llave externa hacia la tabla y los campos indicados en la definiciпїЅn. La sintaxis es la siguiente:

    Las clпїЅusulas ON DELETE y ON UPDATE indican quпїЅ acciпїЅn hay que ejecutar en el caso en que una tupla en la tabla referenciada sea eliminada o actualizada. De hecho, en dichos casos en la columna referenciante (que es la que se estпїЅ definiendo) podrпїЅa haber valores inconsistentes. Las acciones pueden ser:

    • CASCADE: eliminar la tupla que contiene la columna referenciante (en el caso de ON DELETE) o tambiпїЅn actualizar la columna referenciante (en el caso de ON UPDATE).
    • SET DEFAULT: asignar a la columna referenziante su valor de defecto.
    • SET NULL: asignar a la columna referenciante el valor NULL.
  • un control de valor, con el que se permite o no asignar un valor a la columna en funciпїЅn del resultado de una expresiпїЅn. La sintaxis que se usa es:

    donde expresiпїЅn_condicional es una expresiпїЅn que ofrece verdadero o falso.
    Por ejemplo, si estamos definiendo la columna COLUMNA1, con el siguiente control:

    CHECK ( COLUMNA1 1000 )

    en dicha columna se podrпїЅn incluir sпїЅlo valores inferiores a 1000.

  • vпїЅnculo_de_tabla. son vпїЅnculos de integridad que se pueden referir a mпїЅs columnas de la tabla. Son:

    • la definiciпїЅn de la llave primaria:

    PRIMARY KEY ( columna1 [. columna2. ] ) VпїЅase que en este caso, a diferencia de la definiciпїЅn de la llave primaria como vпїЅnculo de columna, пїЅsta se puede formar con mas de un atributo.

  • las definiciones de las llaves externas:

    FOREIGN KEY ( columna1 [. columna2. ] ) definiciones_de_referencia

    La definiciпїЅn_de_referencia tiene la misma sintaxis y significado que la que puede aparecer como vпїЅnculo de columna.

  • un control de valor, con la misma sintaxis y significado que el que se puede usar como vпїЅnculo de columna.

  • Para aclarar mejor el uso de la instrucciпїЅn CREATE TABLE, veamos algunas пїЅrdenes que implementan la base de datos bibliogrпїЅfica ejemplificada.

    CREATE TABLE Publication (
    ID INTEGER PRIMARY KEY,
    type CHAR(18) NOT NULL
    );

    La instrucciпїЅn anterior crea la tabla Publication, formada por las dos columna ID de tipo INTEGER, y type de tipo CHAR(18). ID es la llave primaria de la relaciпїЅn. En el atributo type hay un vпїЅnculo de no nulidad.

    CREATE TABLE Book (
    ID INTEGER PRIMARY KEY REFERENCES Publication(ID),
    title VARCHAR(160) NOT NULL,
    publisher INTEGER NOT NULL REFERENCES Publisher(ID),
    volume VARCHAR(16),

    Crea la relaciпїЅn Book, formada por nueve atributos. La llave primaria es el atributo ID, que es tambiпїЅn una llave externa hacia la relaciпїЅn Publication. Sobre los atributos title, publisher y pub_year hay vпїЅnculos de no nulidad. AdemпїЅs, el atributo publisher es una llave externa hacia la tabla Publisher.

    CREATE TABLE Author (
    publicationID INTEGER REFERENCES Publication(ID),
    personID INTEGER REFERENCES Person(ID),
    PRIMARY KEY (publicationID, personID)
    );

    Crea la relaciпїЅn Author, compuesta por dos atributos: publicationID y personID. La llave primaria en este caso estпїЅ formada por la combinaciпїЅn de los dos atributos, como estпїЅ indicado por el vпїЅnculo de tabla PRIMARY KEY. PublicationID es una llave externa hacia la relaciпїЅn Publication, mientras que personID lo es hacia la relaciпїЅn Person.

    El archivo create_biblio.sql contiene todas las пїЅrdenes necesarias para crear la estructura de la base de datos bibliogrпїЅfica ejemplificada.

    NOTA SOBRE POSTGRESQL
    En PotgreSQL, por lo menos hasta la versiпїЅn 6.5.1, no se han implementado todavпїЅa los vпїЅnculos sobre las llaves externas. El parser acepta, de todos modos, las sintaxis SQL que le afectan, y por tanto los constructos FOREIGN KEY y REFERENCES no producen un error, sino sпїЅlo un warning.
