Salary Expectations for Medical Billing and Coding

According to the 2011 annual salary survey conducted by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), salaries earned by professional medical billers and certified medical coders vary widely by job duties and geographic area. That said, the earnings potential of medical coders and medical billers is above minimum wage for their locality. This is understandable since medical billing and medical coding professionals have specialized training, and they practice a skills that touch on all aspects of healthcare delivery. Their training does not only involve them in reimbursement issues, but also issues of appropriate documentation of provided medically necessary services. They are a resource of somewhat esoteric knowledge that ensures compliance with applicable government programs and private commercial contracts.

Professional medical billers and certified medical coders are paid well not only for what they do, which is assemble bills, post payments, and reconcile accounts, they earn their salaries by being cognizant of the various requirements needed to manage information regarding healthcare delivery. They are masters of the specialized language of medical code, assigning appropriate codes to accurately describe medical services and conditions. The integrity of a medical practice’s interactions with outside entities relies on the successful performance of professional medical billers and certified medical coders.

Medical Billing and Coding Jobs

Naturally, medical billers and medical coders in entry level positions earn less than those more experienced in the field. Entry level positions include data entry, charge entry, payment posting, collecting, and claim reconciliation. All of these jobs require a basic understanding of medical coding and the healthcare reimbursement system, but they require little professional judgement. For instance, charge entry is the role of entering codes and associated charges in a database for submission to third-party payers. Account reconciliation is the posting of payments and patient financial obligations from explanations of benefits (EOBs) as directed by insurers when a check is received. Collections is the act of contacting patients to encourage payment for their obligations under the terms of their insurance contracts. Professionals who perform these jobs are vital to a medical practice’s financial health, and they are compensated accordingly.

Medical billing and coding career information

With experience and more advanced training, professional medical billers and certified medical coders are given more authority over how health information is reported to third-party payers and outside agencies. They are conversant with the coverage determinations of government healthcare programs, the medical policies of commercial healthcare insurance, and with the various medically unlikely edits and code combinations that insurers use to process claims. They advise healthcare providers of documentation requirements, and they help devise coding and billing strategies to accurately describe services provided in order to legally maximize reimbursement. They prevent fraud and abuse of the healthcare reimbursement system, and they protect a medical practice, and individual providers, from legal exposure to charges of the same. Medical billers in management positions monitor trends in the overall accounts receivable in order to identify deficits in the practice’s billing processes, rather than reconciling individual accounts.

Auditors compare available documentation to assigned codes, both before and after submission to third-party payers. When claims are found to be improperly denied, they manage appeals to payers on a case-by-case basis. When coding methodologies are found to be out of alignment with available documentation, auditors conduct training with healthcare providers to improve coding and documentation skills. Compliance personnel apply the published statutes, contractual obligations, and industry standards to coding and billing practice in order to ensure that bills and codes are submitted in such as way that meets legal definitions of described services, that modifiers are applied appropriately, and that contractual obligations are met or exceeded to provide quality care and accurate reporting of that care.

Outside the medical practice or hospital setting, some professional medical billers and certified medical coders open their own consulting businesses, working with clients to research code methodology, working as independent auditors, and providing professional advice on coding and billing issues that may impact a healthcare provider’s business model. As self-employed individuals, medical coding and medical billing consultants command the highest salaries, but they also incur the most expenses. As self-employed professionals, they are required to meet their own overhead expenses, including maintaining an office, liability insurance, their own health insurance, retirement plan, and required tax payments without the aid of an employer. An alternative career path that is also well-paid is that of educator. With professional training, accredited certification, and experience in the field, many medical billers and medical coders train the next generation of billers and coders to prepare them for the well-paid challenges and duties that await them.

Training Pays

Of the medical coders and billers surveyed in 2011, the latest year for which statistics are available, professionals with a bachelors’ degree earned, on average, $10,000.00 more per year than coders and billers without a degree. The national average was $51,825.00 for degree-holding professional coders and billers versus $41,802.00 per year for non-degreed coders and billers. This is the national average across the gamut of professional opportunities available.

While holding a degree is an advantage when entering the field, experience is another kind of training that needs to be taken into account. More than half of professional medical billers and certified medical coders who have more than twenty years experience earned in excess of $50,000.00 per year according to the latest survey. More than a quarter of those who have at least ten years experience earned the same amount. Having the ability to stay with this profession and learn on the job has its rewards. It is a demanding field, but for those who choose to stick with it, and master the fundamentals, the rewards are accessible. Professional medical billers and certified medical coders who continue their education through seminars, professional associations, and educational programs offered by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance companies stay on top of the issues that affect the industry, and, through experience, they provide positive results to their employer’s business operations.

Medical billing and coding career information

Location is Important

Where professional medical billers and certified medical coders practice their trade affects their salary. In the Pacific states of California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska, the average salary for all medical billers and medical coders is $57,334.00 per year. In New England, the average annual salary is $47,852.00. In regions where the cost of living is lower, such as in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama, the average annual salary is $39,830.00. Though location is important in the total salary earned, the relative parity of income earned by professional medical billers and certified medical coders is consistently above the average for each geographical region.

With appropriate preparation for entering the field, entry level medical coding and medical billing jobs consistently pay better than unskilled administrative positions. With experience, the earning potential of medical billers and medical coders only increases.

Information theft has led to the compromise of intellectual property, credit card information, electronic funds, identity theft, and a host of other negative consequences. Electronic theft, or cyber crime affects individuals, corporations and government entities. Breaches are routinely perpetrated by, ill intended employees, ex-employees, organized crime groups, and foreign government sponsored espionage groups.

While government mandates are driving organizations to address compliance initiatives, the security of many data assets has seen limited improvement. Many organizations are struggling quietly having been victimized by information theft and are seeking to understand the potential consequences and methods to recovery. Information Defense helps organizations to identify threats to intellectual property and sensitive data assets along with the necessary measures to prepare for, prevent, and respond to cyber crime and data theft.

We assist organizations to:

  • Secure data environments through technical measures
  • Secure data through improved information security process and procedures
  • Respond to and recover from information security breaches
  • Build incident response and data forensic teams
  • Model and measure risk to information assets and intellectual property
  • Address compliance initiatives such as PCI, Red Flags Rule and others

Our methods follow a comprehensive risk based approach through our Information Security Management Model (ISMM). The protection of information assets within the workplace is a significant issue. Our approach enables organizations to Prepare, Prevent and Respond to cyber crime.

AUBAGIO (teriflunomide) is a prescription medicine used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).

  • Have severe liver problems. AUBAGIO may cause serious liver problems, which can be life-threatening. Your risk may be higher if you take other medicines that affect your liver. Your healthcare provider should do blood tests to check your liver within 6 months before you start AUBAGIO and monthly for 6 months after starting AUBAGIO. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you develop any of these symptoms of liver problems: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, tiredness, yellowing of your skin or whites of your eyes, or dark urine.
  • Are pregnant. AUBAGIO may harm an unborn baby. You should have a pregnancy test before starting AUBAGIO. After stopping AUBAGIO, continue to use effective birth control until you have made sure your blood levels of AUBAGIO are lowered. If you become pregnant while taking AUBAGIO or within 2 years after stopping, tell your healthcare provider right away and enroll in the AUBAGIO Pregnancy Registry at 1 800 745 4447, option 2.
  • Are of childbearing potential and not using effective birth control.

It is not known if AUBAGIO passes into breast milk. Your healthcare provider can help you decide if you should take AUBAGIO or breastfeed you should not do both at the same time.

If you are a man whose partner plans to become pregnant, you should stop taking AUBAGIO and talk with your healthcare provider about reducing the levels of AUBAGIO in your blood. If your partner does not plan to become pregnant, use effective birth control while taking AUBAGIO.

  • Have had an allergic reaction to AUBAGIO or a medicine called leflunomide.
  • Take a medicine called leflunomide for rheumatoid arthritis.

AUBAGIO may stay in your blood for up to 2 years after you stop taking it. Your healthcare provider can prescribe a medicine that can remove AUBAGIO from your blood quickly.

Before taking AUBAGIO, talk with your healthcare provider if you have: liver or kidney problems; a fever or infection, or if you are unable to fight infections; numbness or tingling in your hands or feet that is different from your MS symptoms; diabetes; serious skin problems when taking other medicines; breathing problems; or high blood pressure. Your healthcare provider will check your blood cell count and TB test before you start AUBAGIO. Talk with your healthcare provider if you take or are planning to take other medicines (especially medicines for treating cancer or controlling your immune system), vitamins or herbal supplements.

AUBAGIO may cause serious side effects, including: reduced white blood cell count this may cause you to have more infections; numbness or tingling in your hands or feet that is different from your MS symptoms; allergic reactions, including serious skin problems; breathing problems (new or worsening); and high blood pressure. Patients with low white blood cell count should not receive certain vaccinations during AUBAGIO treatment and 6 months after.

Tell your doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or does not go away.

The most common side effects when taking AUBAGIO include: headache; diarrhea; nausea; hair thinning or loss; and abnormal liver test results. These are not all the side effects of AUBAGIO. Tell your healthcare provider about any side effect that bothers you.

Consult your healthcare provider if you have questions about your health or any medications you may be taking, including AUBAGIO.

Answers to Your Term Life Insurance Questions

What is term life insurance?

Term life insurance is the most basic and least expensive form of life insurance you can buy. There are no investment accounts, cash values or policy loan features on term life. Just pure and simple life insurance protection.

You can choose a term length of 10 to 35 years, and a coverage amount of $25,000 to $25M or more.

How much does term life insurance cost?

Term life insurance is inexpensive relative to other types of life insurance such as whole life or universal life. Your cost will depend on factors like age, gender, medical history, current health, tobacco use, driving record, and more.

The life insurance company will assign a rating class to your policy during the underwriting process. This class will determine how much you will pay.

How do I buy term life insurance?

You can buy term life insurance from an independent agent or broker (like us), from a captive agent (think Allstate or Farmer’s), or directly from a life insurance company, although very few sell directly to consumers.

The important thing to keep in mind is the cost is the same to you regardless of who you buy the policy from. Rates are set by the life insurance companies and approved by state insurance departments. Agents and brokers cannot adjust these rates up or down. However, they can help you find the lowest rate based on your unique circumstances.

How do I apply for term life insurance?

The term life application process is simple. We’ll do most of the heavy lifting for you.

    1. Select a company – Pick your favorite and click “Apply.”
    2. Schedule your application call – We’ll give you the calendar, you pick the day and time to complete your application with us by phone.
    3. Complete your paramed exam – We’ll schedule this during your call. All you have to do is meet with the examiner.
    4. Sit back and relax – We’ll work with the company to get your application approved. We may ask you for information from time to time, as needed.
    5. Return your policy documents and the first payment – We’ll mail your new policy to you. You’ll send us back any signatures needed and the first payment.
That’s it! It really is that simple.

North Carolina Bill of Sale Form: How to Get One, Fill it Out, and the Required Information

January 27, 2012

In North Carolina. a bill of sale is not a requirement for you to sell a car. However, if you are contemplating selling a vehicle it is probably an idea to consider strongly.

An NC bill of sale form is not mandatory to be filed in the state. Strictly speaking, the only document you need to conduct a car sale in North Carolina is a correctly filled out and notarized certificate of title. The certificate of title assumes that you are the owner of the vehicle and the vehicle will be transferred to a second party for a specified amount.

Vehicle Bill of Sale Template

If you file a bill of sale form, the information on the form needs to include the name and address of the owner, the make and model of the vehicle being sold, and an accurate mileage at the time of sale.

Because this is a written agreement, it is a very good idea for you to ensure that:

  1. The check used to close the sale clears the buyer’s bank; as pointed out in various blogs there are some very nasty sales scams occurring at the moment involving used car sales.
  2. All the fields are filled out correctly.
  3. The transferee on the title is listed as you, the owner.
  4. The person to whom the vehicle is transferred is the buyer.
  5. The mileage is accurate, for which you may ask a police officer for an affidavit, just in case the question comes up.

Why Use a Bill of Sale

A bill of sale is an official and legal document which helps you before all legal and final papers are prepared. You should use a bill of sale because it offers a measure of protection to the seller as well as the customer. For example, if you were to sell a vehicle and after three or four days the buyer was to try to back out of the deal, then you have a legal document to which to refer that solidifies the purchase. If the buyer took your car for a test drive and brought the car back with damage, you can also ask for extra money and prove the earlier condition of the car with the help of the bill of sale. It is also suggested that you take good pictures of your car while making the sale.

Likewise, if the buyer has issues that must be addressed before a sale can be finalized, those issues can be addressed in a bill of sale that will give the seller coverage in case the buyer decides it is not the vehicle that was represented.

How to Get a Bill of Sale Form

This form can be found here. The site provides you with a form that you can use as a North Carolina vehicle bill of sale template. Be aware, though, that this is not a free option, it’s a “fee” option.

High Risk Drivers and High Risk Auto Insurance

If you’re a high risk driver, chances are you’ve had trouble finding affordable auto insurance. It’s an unfortunate situation, but those drivers who are considered risky to insure have to pay higher rates for car insurance.

The most common classification for a high risk driver is one who has been charged with a DUI/DWI. Because these motorists are more likely to cause an accident, they will need to pay higher premiums. Be sure to visit Good2Go’s state pages to learn more about your state’s car insurance laws including DUI/DWI laws.

In addition to drivers who have been convicted of DUIs/DWIs, if your driver’s license has been suspended, you may be required to fill out an SR-22 policy in order to get your driving privileges reinstated. An SR-22 form proves that you have valid auto insurance for your vehicle. High risk drivers are more likely to carry one of these policies, especially those who have been convicted of a DUI/DWI.

A driver can also be considered a high risk if he or she falls into one of these categories:

  • Newly licensed driver
  • Young/Teen driver
  • Elderly driver (70 years or older)
  • Have no prior auto insurance coverage
  • Poor credit history
  • Live in a high risk area
  • Has multiple traffic violations
  • Involvement in car accidents

High risk auto insurance, also known as non-standard insurance, is typically more expensive to purchase than standard coverage because high risk drivers are at a higher financial risk to insure.

Luckily for you, Good2Go has specialized in providing drivers with cheap high risk auto insurance for over 25 years. We understand how important it is for you to have your car which is why we offer minimum coverage for high risk drivers. Find out if Good2Go auto insurance is available in your state by starting an online auto insurance quote or calling 1-855-MINIMO1 (1-855-646-4661).

El Portal de Orihuela Costa – The Gate to Orihuela Costa

Orihuela Costa has 16 kilometres of coastline which varies from rugged coastline with crystal-clear water to fine white sandy beaches. These beaches are ideal for water-sports, fishing etc. or for just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful Orihuela Costa weather.

Orihuela Costa can boast some of the best beaches in Spain. Year after year Orihuela gets awarded with Q for Quality flags, which are internationally recognised as the highest award which can be given to beaches, meaning they have passed a multitude of tests and are among the best in the world.

The first beaches to be awarded with these Q flags are Cala Capitan, Cala las Estacas and Playa de la Glea. Orihuela Costa already holds four blue flags and eleven Qualitur flags, and is the resort to hold most flags in the whole of the Valencian Community.

WHAT IS Q FOR QUALITY? The Q award is the seal of Spanish Tourism Quality. Tourist products with the Q mark meet necessary quality requirements and clients demands. The Q denotes prestige, reliability, commitment and distinction. Its objective is to achieve recognition by consumers and tour operators. Establishments eligible for the Q for Quality Tourism designation in Spain are: hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, campsites, nature areas, tourist offices, convention bureaux, conference centres, beaches, golf courses, rural accommodation, ski resorts, regional tourist boards and active tourism centres.

Orihuela Costa – Punta Prima

This very attractive and popular beach is bordered on the north by the beach of N ufragos (Torrevieja) and on the south by Playa Flamenca.

The narrow cove beach is a favourite of the regular holiday-makers and is divided into two levels with a length of 170 meters by 14 wide and it is accessed by ramps and stairs. It is planned to install a lift this year which will facilitate access for the elderly and physically handicapped to the beach area. This will not only provide a much needed service but will hopefully assist in the gaining of a first Blue Flag for the beach next year.

This beach also boasts the full range of facilities that one would expect on an Orihuela Costa beach together with a bus stop and public telephone.

Orihuela Costa – Playa Flamenca

This popular and award winning beach has a length of 150 meters with an average width of 16 meters and there are no obstacles in accessing it.

This is an open beach of fine sand and it is extremely popular with bathers and sun-seekers alike. Bordered on the north by the beach at Punta Prima and south by La Zenia beach Playa Flamenca is one of the busiest beaches on the Orihuela Costa.

This beach has again been awarded the prized Blue Flag, acknowledging the constant attention the beach and its facilities receive from the town hall.

There are parking facilities, special access for handicapped people, telephone, play area, toilets and foot-washing facilities, a life-guard tower and a Red Cross station. There is also a bus stop and taxi rank. There is also a popular promenade and several walkways. Close to the beach are a number of popular restaurants where visitors can taste the traditional dishes of the area.

Legal Status of Payday Loans by State #payday #loan #new #mexico, #payday #loan #consumer #information

Legal Status of Payday Loans by State

Click on your state to learn if payday loans are legal or prohibited and the state law that applies.

States where payday lending is allowed

The page for each state where payday lending is legal gives the key cost of loan terms under state law. Look for the cost of a payday loan in dollars and annual interest rate for a 14-day $100 loan. Each page lists the maximum number of loans a consumer can have, any limits on loan renewals and requirements for extended repayment plans. Collection limits spell out the fees lenders can charge if the loan is not repaid and whether the lender can use or threaten criminal action if a borrower is unable to make good on the check used to get a loan.

States where payday lending is prohibited

In states that still have small loan rate caps or usury laws, the state page gives the citation for the law that limits rates, and the small loan rate cap.

Contact Information for State Regulators

All state pages list the state payday loan or small loan regulator, contact information and web site. A link to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is provided on each state page.

Legal Status of Payday Lending

Payday loans are small loans subject to state regulation. Traditionally states have capped small loan rates at 24 to 48 percent annual interest and required installment repayment schedules. Many states also have criminal usury laws to protect consumers.

Payday loans at triple-digit rates and due in full on the next payday are legal in states where legislatures either deregulated small loans or exempted payday loans from traditional small loan or usury laws and/or enacted legislation to authorize loans based on holding the borrower’s check or electronic payment from a bank account.

Eighteen States and the District of Columbia Prohibit Extremely High Cost Payday Lending

States protect their citizens from usurious payday lending by prohibiting the product or by setting rate caps or usury limits.

Georgia prohibits payday loans under racketeering laws. New York and New Jersey prohibit payday lending through criminal usury statutes, limiting loans to 25 percent and 30 percent annual interest, respectively. Arkansas ’s state constitution caps loan rates at 17 percent annual interest.

After permitting high-cost payday loans, New Hampshire capped payday loan rates at 36 percent annual interest in 2009. Montana voters passed a ballot initiative in 2010 to cap loan rates at 36 percent annual interest, effective in 2011. South Dakota voters approved a ballot initiative in 2016 by a 75 percent vote to cap rates for payday, car title and installment loans at 36 percent annual interest. Arizona voters rejected a payday loan ballot initiative in 2008, leading to sunset of the authorizing law in 2010. North Carolina tried payday lending for a few years, then let the authorizing law expire after loans were found to trap borrowers in debt. The states of Connecticut. Maryland. Massachusetts. Pennsylvania. Vermont , and West Virginia never authorized payday loans. The District of Columbia repealed its payday law.

Three States Permit Lower-Cost Payday Lending

Small loans secured by access to the borrower’s bank account are authorized in three states at lower than typical rates. Maine caps interest at 30 percent but permits tiered fees that result in up to 261 percent annual rates for a two-week $250 loan. Oregon permits a one-month minimum term payday loan at 36 percent interest lus a $10 per $100 borrowed initial loan fees. As a result, a $250 one-month loan costs 154 percent annual interest for the initial loan, and 36 percent for any subsequent loans. Colorado amended its payday loan law in 2010 to set a minimum six-month term for loans based on checks held by the lender. A Colorado payday loan may include charges of 45 percent per annum interest, a monthly maintenance fee of 7.5 percent per month after the first month, and a tiered system of finance charges, with 20 percent for the first $300 borrower and an additional 7.5 percent for amounts from $301 to $500. Loans can be prepaid at any time with a rebate of unearned fees, repaid in installments, or repaid in one lump sum.

Thirty-Two States Authorize High-Cost Payday Lending

Thirty-two states either enacted legislation authorizing payday loans, failed to close loopholes exploited by the industry to make high-cost loans, or deregulated small loan interest rate caps.

Payday lending is legal in Ohio despite a ballot vote in 2008 that capped rates. The industry switched to lending under other laws which was upheld by the courts and not corrected by the Ohio legislature.

Some authorizing states somewhat limit debt-trap risks. For example, Washington limits borrowers to eight payday loans per year. Virginia requires loans to be payable in two pay cycles; however, lenders evade protections in Virginia by structuring loans as unregulated open-end lines of credit.

Benefits of Driving a 2012 Hyundai Accent Hatchback

Hyundai’s Accent may be best known as the cheapest car in America, but for 2012, the automaker has decided to step away from that pursuit with its entry-level compact. The Accent offers quite a bit of bang for the buck in a compact car, and its new 1.6L engine is both relatively powerful and very efficient. At right around $13k, the Accent is a great value, with more options than what you’d get on a comparably priced Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris or Mazda2.

What’s new for 2012?

The Accent has been completely redesigned for the 2012 model year. A new 1.6L engine has been fitted to all models, which makes 138 horsepower and achieves 40 mpg on the highway. Two body styles are available

Model Strengths

  • Fresh styling, efficient new 1.6L engine, excellent ‘bang for the buck’

Model Review

For 2012, the Hyundai Accent is all-new. Outside, a new body has been designed, with a much more flowing look than what was used on previous models. New headlights and tail lights have been fitted, and those, along with revised body contours, resemble other Hyundais currently being produced, especially the Sonata, Elantra and Tucson. The Accent is still Hyundai’s entry-level compact car, with prices starting at right around $13k. Two body styles are available for 2012

Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned Warranty

Certified Pre-Owned Warranty To be eligible for Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) status, vehicles generally must be recent models with relatively low mileage. CPO vehicles must also pass a detailed inspection, outlined by the manufacturer, which is measured by the number of inspected points. Warranty coverage can vary from one manufacturer to the next. While most certified pre-owned programs transfer and extend the existing new car warranty terms, others offer a warranty that simply represents an additional year and mileage value. Always check with the manufacturer for the specific warranties they offer. Common features and benefits of Certified Pre-Owned warranties include: Age/Mileage Eligibility To even be considered for certification, a car must be a recent model year and have limited mileage. The exact requirements are established by individual manufacturers. Lease Term Certified Some manufacturers offer certified pre-owned cars for lease. The length of the lease is often shorter than a new car lease, but it will cost you less. Point Inspection These inspections entail a comprehensive vehicle test to ensure that all parts are in excellent working order. The point inspection list is simply a numbered list of exactly what parts of the car are examined. While many inspections range from a 70- to 150-point checklist, most are very similar and are performed using strict guidelines. Ask your local dealer about specific details. Return/Exchange Program Some manufacturers offer a very limited return or exchange period. Find out if you will get the sales tax and licensing/registration fees back should you return or exchange the car. Roadside Assistance Most certified pre-owned programs offer free roadside service in case your car breaks down while still under warranty. Special Financing Reduced-rate loans are available through many certified pre-owned programs. Manufacturer-backed inspections and warranties help eliminate the risks involved with buying pre-owned, so buyers who qualify can take advantage of the great offers. Transferable Warranty When a new car warranty transfers with the certification of the car and remains eligible for the next owner, it is known as a transferable warranty. Once the original transferable warranty expires, an extended warranty takes effect. Warranty Deductible This is the amount for which you are responsible when repair work is performed under the warranty. Some manufacturers require a deductible while others don’t, so always ask.

120-months/100,000-mile Powertrain warranty from original in-service date.

Employment and Labor

Security Clearance

Security clearances are an increasingly important requirement for federal government employees, employees of government contractors, military personnel and even private sector employees. Security clearance guidelines and standards over the past 10 years have changed, and the number of individuals who require access to sensitive or classified information has significantly increased. In addition, the federal government has required employees who already have security clearances to upgrade their security clearance levels. The process of obtaining, retaining and upgrading a security clearance over the last several years has become more complex due to the security concerns of the United States Government. Our firm serves as security clearance lawyers for individuals encountering difficulties or questions in the security clearance process. We belong to the Security Clearance Lawyers Association.

Security Clearance Application Process

All employees whose positions require access to sensitive information or restricted areas are required to complete an application form known as the Standard Form 86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions (SF-86) or Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP ). Providing information in the SF-86 or e-QIP is voluntary; however, completing the form truthfully is critical to the process of successfully obtaining a security clearance. Once a security clearance application is completed, it is generally submitted to the Defense Security Service (DSS), the individual federal agency s security clearance review office, or the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for a review and determination.

Public Trust/Suitability Investigations

Federal employment positions often include important duties that do not require a security clearance but are sensitive in nature. For instance, included in public trust positions are certain types of federal police officers, comptrollers, and public safety and health workers. These positions are referred to as public trust positions. They are subject to background investigations, which include a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) review, and potential personal interview and reference checks.

Our law firm also represents and advises individuals in the related area of suitability and public trust positions, which derive from an individual s completion of the SF-85 (Questionnaire for Non-Sensitive Positions) and SF-85P (Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions).

Security Clearance Investigations

The U.S. Government conducts background investigations and reinvestigations of individuals under consideration for a security clearance or for the retention of their security clearance in national security positions. Applying for a security clearance requires an employee to undergo a comprehensive background investigation into all aspects of his or her personal and professional history. The investigation includes interviewing the applicant, checking state and federal criminal databases, and interviewing other persons. An employee’s full cooperation with all aspects of the investigation is a requirement in order for him or her to obtain a security clearance.

If a federal employee or government contractor employee’s initial application is denied, or his or her existing security clearance is revoked or suspended, he or she will be issued a Statement of Reasons (SOR) or will be provided a notice which outlines the reasons why the security clearance was not granted or continued. When the Defense Security Service (DSS), the individual s federal agency security office, or the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) denies an employee’s security clearance, there are procedures or provisions that allow the employee or government contractor employee to appeal the decision, such as a hearing (often referred to as a personal appearance) before the employing agency or the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) to adjudicate his or her security clearance matter.

Federal employees have the right to appear in person before an administrative judge in a hearing (or other clearance adjudicator) and respond to the allegations in the SOR. Following such a hearing or personal appearance, the administrative judge or adjudicator will issue a recommended decision to the federal agency s personnel security appeals board (PSAB), which will issue the final determination on the federal employee s security clearance. Government contractor employees in DoD cases have the right to a hearing before a DOHA judge. In cases involving DoD government contractors, the administrative judge will issue the initial ruling as to whether the security clearance is granted. A contractor then has a right to appeal an adverse decision to the DOHA Appeal Board.

Intelligence Agency Security Clearance Holders

Our firm represents security clearance holders and applicants before federal intelligence agencies, governed by Intelligence Community Directive 703 and Intelligence Community Policy Guidance 704.2 such as the National Security Agency (NSA), Central Intelligency Agency (CIA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and others.

Berry Berry, PLLC are security clearance attorneys that handle federal employee and federal contractor security clearance and public trust matters throughout the United States.

Our experienced attorneys have assisted numerous federal government employees, military personnel, and government contractors in all stages of the security clearance process by providing legal advice or representation. In addition, our attorneys are familiar with the significant differences between individuals seeking security clearances for use as federal employees and individuals seeking security clearances for use as federal government contractors (i.e. industrial security clearances under Executive Order 10865 and Department of Defense Directive 5220.6).

Our attorneys can advise employees on areas of the SF-86, e-Qip or other related security clearance documentation that require additional care and attention. Our attorneys can also provide advice or guidance in the application, interview and polygraph processes for any security clearance levels such as the following:

  • Confidential, Secret or Top Secret
  • Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Special Access Programs (SAP)

If a security clearance is denied, our experienced attorneys can represent the employee through the appeal process before the DOHA, the DSS or the federal agency processing the clearance. It is important that an employee takes the appeal process very seriously as the inability to obtain, maintain or upgrade a security clearance at the appellate stages can mean the loss of his or her position.

Please contact Berry Berry, PLLC to schedule a consultation with a security clearance attorney if you are submitting an initial security clearance application (SF-86), undergoing a background investigation, or having your security clearance denied or revoked.

Benign mesothelioma

A non-cancerous, or benign mesothelioma is a growth of the mesothelium that does not spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body. Benign mesothelioma tumours are not usually life-threatening. They are typically removed with surgery and do not usually come back (recur). There are a few types of benign mesothelioma.

Fibrous tumour of the pleura

This tumour can start in the thin tissue covering the lung (visceral pleura). It may also start in the thin tissue that lines the chest cavity and surrounds the lungs (parietal pleura). Fibrous tumours of the pleura can cause many of the same symptoms as malignant mesothelioma, such as shortness of breath.

These types of tumours may recur after surgery. In some cases, a localized fibrous tumour of the pleura is actually cancerous.

Multicystic mesothelioma

Multicystic mesothelioma forms many benign cysts cysts A sac in the body that is usually filled with fluid or semi-solid material. on the thin lining of the inner abdomen, called the peritoneum. This type of mesothelioma is more commonly found in women. It may also be called benign cystic mesothelioma.

Adenomatoid mesothelioma

This type of benign mesothelioma can start in the mesothelium lining the reproductive organs. In women, it can start in the fallopian tubes. In men, it can start in the epididymis ducts that carry the sperm cells out of the testicles.

    Life Insurance Law

Life insurance provides a financial benefit to the named beneficiaries of the insurance holder upon the holder s death. There are generally two types of life insurance: whole and term. Whole life insurance provides coverage for a person regardless of the age he or she lives to be, as long as the policy remains active; term life insurance offers coverage for a set number of years, which are specified in the policy. When the insured dies, the specified amount of the policy is paid to the insured s beneficiaries. Laws regulating the life insurance industry specify who can be a beneficiary and how the benefits can be transferred. Chiltons Auto Repair Manual Information and Advice #buy #cars #online

    #chilton auto repair manual

    Chiltons Auto Repair Manual Review

Chiltons auto repair manual is one of the better known provider of auto repair information. You’ve probably seen their auto repair books in your local auto parts store. Let’s find out whether it is worth your money in this Chiltons manual review.

    The Good

This auto repair information company is probably a better known brand than many other companies that provide car repair guides because they have been around for a long time and they sell their guides in almost every auto parts store in the country.

When I was a kid and I needed to know information about my car I would go to the auto parts store and buy a manual (or sometimes just look up what I need to know in the store!). Since these were sold in almost all parts stores this is the one that I bought and got used to.

If you are looking for general maintenance and small repair job instructions, then their printed guides as well as their DIY web guides are great. They are very competitive with what information they include and how detailed they are.

    The Bad

If you are looking for more detailed information then you might want to consider another option.

The down side to the Chiltons auto repair manual as well as the Haynes auto repair manual is that they just do not get very in-depth when it comes to more detailed information. They basically put in the most useful information into both their printed guides and their online service. But leave out more detailed information and trouble trees.

If you are just looking for some basic maintenance information or repair information for a small job then you would probably be just fine using their service.

Here is a link to Chiltons auto repair manuals if you would like to check it out. Once you are there you can click on the “login” button under the “try it for free” box and you can see what it is like.

Having tried almost all popular repair manuals in my years as a mechanic, I personally recommend ALLDATAdiy to home mechanics, DIY enthusiasts and auto professionals.

While ALLDATAdiy’s indepth information and detailed diagrams allow professional mechanics to pull off major overhuals. its step by step instructions and clear pictures makes it simple enough for first time beginners to follow.

Given that they have more than 30,000 repair manuals, you will find an exact match for your vehicle’s year, make and model on their website.

Besides much cheaper ($20++ for a year’s subscription) than a factory manual, they also provide valuable information (such as the latest prices of OEM parts) that you won’t find elsewhere – Click here for my full ALLDATAdiy review.

  • Mealworms Facts #mealworm #information

    Mealworms Facts

Mealworms hatch from white eggs about 14 days after laying. They molt between nine and 20 times in the larval stage. Mealworms then enter the pupa stage. The pupa is a white sac that s a half-inch to three quarters of an inch long. The pupa stage lasts for two to three weeks. Within the pupa, the mealworm is completing transformation into a beetle. During the pupal stage, the mealworm does not move or eat. The pupa s color darkens before the mealworm hatches as an adult beetle. As soon as two to three weeks after emerging from the pupal stage, adult females begin to lay eggs.

    Mealworm Anatomy

These insects have yellow or brown wormlike bodies. Their bodies are hard, to allow the mealworms to easily burrow. Adult mealworms are approximately 1 inch long.

Adult darkling beetles are black with hard wings and segmented antennae near the eyes. Some beetle species have scent glands in the rear of the body. When threatened, adults will lift their bodies and spray a potential predator. The chemicals released turn the skin brown and have a bad odor.

    Mealworm Habitat and Diet

Mealworms ideal habitat is a dark, moist location where they have access to food and won t be disturbed. They are often found in stored grain containers, in garden and bird seed, and under accumulations of organic matter such as leaves. In addition to eating grains, mealworms feast on dying leaves and grasses, feces and dead insects.

    Raising Mealworms

Mealworms can be a food source for birds, lizards and other insects. Some people may raise mealworms to feed their other pets. You can raise them in a classroom setting to teach metamorphosis.

Place mealworms in a plastic container such as a cup or margarine container. Use a clear one if you want to allow easy observation. Make sure the container has a lid with air holes. Place a thin layer of bran or crushed wheat flakes on the bottom of the container. Feed the mealworms a slice of apple or potato. Provide fresh food regularly and don t allow food to mold in the container. Mealworms get their hydration from their food, so don t supply a water source.

    Career Information: Automotive Mechanic #how #to #sell #your #car

    #auto mechanic

    Career Information: Automotive Mechanic

    What is this job like?

Automotive service technicians and mechanics fix cars or light trucks that have broken down. They must be able to figure out the source of the problem quickly and correctly. They must know automobiles well.

Nearly half of all automotive service technicians work more than 40 hours a week. Many who put in long hours work for themselves. Some service shops are open in the evenings and on weekends.

Most service technicians work indoors in repair shops. Many times technicians must work with dirty and greasy parts. They often lift heavy parts and tools. Minor cuts, burns, and bruises are common. Technicians usually avoid serious accidents when the shop is kept clean and in order. It is also important that they follow safety practices.

    How do you get ready?

Automotive technology is becoming more complex. People who want to enter this field should get formal training. You can get this training either in high school or in a vocational school. Some people still learn this trade from helping and learning from experienced workers.

Training programs usually use both classroom instruction and hands-on practice. In some technical and trade schools this training lasts 6 months to a year. In community colleges this training usually lasts 2 years. In addition to automotive training, it also includes other classes like math, English, and computers. When students finish this type of training they get an associate degree or certificate. Some training programs also help their future technicians get the various power and hand tools they need, since technicians may have to provide their own tools once on the job.

Automakers and some car dealers sponsor 2-year programs for students to enter after high school. This leads to an associate degree. Students in these programs usually spend 6 to 12 weeks going to class full time. Then they spend the same number of weeks working for a dealer. While there, they work with someone with lots of experience. It may take several years before a new technician can fix automobiles without supervision.

Employers look for people with strong communication and analytical skills for trainee jobs. Technicians also need good reading, math, and computer skills. They must study technical manuals and may even visit an automobile maker to learn how to repair new autos, so they can keep up with the latest in the field. Trainees also must have mechanical skills and know how cars work.

How much does this job pay?

In 2006, the middle half of all automotive service technicians earned between $11.96 and $21.56 per hour. The lowest-paid 10 percent earned less than $9.17. The highest-paid 10 percent earned more than $27.22.

Many experienced technicians who work for car dealers and repair shops are paid a commission. The amount they earn depends on the labor cost paid by the customer. In this case, earnings per week depend upon the amount of work completed. Some automotive service technicians are members of labor unions.

    How many jobs are there?

Automotive service technicians and mechanics held about 773,000 jobs in 2006. Most worked in car repair shops, for car dealers, or for places that sell car parts and supplies. Others worked in gas stations, home and auto supply stores, and for companies that rent cars. Still others worked for the government and other organizations. About 17 percent worked for themselves.

    What about the future?

Job opportunities are expected to be very good for people who complete a training program and receive a certification. People who are good at figuring out problems should have the best chances. Their training should include basic electronics skills. Persons without formal automotive training will likely have to compete for entry-level jobs.

Employment in this field should increase faster than the average through the year 2016. There will be many openings in this field as experienced technicians move to other jobs or retire. Most people who enter this field can expect steady work. This is because changes in economic conditions and in other industries have little effect on the amount of work. Many new jobs will be in dealerships and small repair shops.

Are there other jobs like this?

  • Can I Buy a House with Bad Credit? #refinancing #information

Can I Buy a House with Bad Credit?

Can I Buy a House with Bad Credit?

Getting a Mortgage with Bad Credit

If you have bad credit and fear you’ll face a loan denial when applying for a mortgage, don’t worry. You can get a mortgage with a low credit score. It’ll just come at a higher cost, and you’ll likely need to provide an explanation of your low credit score.

    Fixing or Preventing Bad Credit

Having bad credit is not the end of the world. It still may be possible for lenders to give you a loan, provided your credit score is not too low. But be aware that you may pay a higher interest rate and more fees since you are more likely to default (fail to pay the loan back). So it s in your best interest to improve your credit score in order to get a lower interest rate, which can save you thousands in the long run.

Mortgage lenders look at the age, dollar amount, and payment history of your different credit lines. That means opening accounts frequently, running up your balances, and paying on time or not at all can impact your credit score negatively. Just changing one of these components of your spending behavior can positively affect your credit score.

There are ways you can improve your credit score, such as paying down your debts, paying your bills on time, and disputing possible errors on your credit report. But on the flip side, there are ways you can also hurt your score, so remember:

    • DON T close an account to remove it from your report (it doesn t work).
    • DON T open too many credit accounts in a short period of time.
    • DON T take too long to shop around for interest rates. Lenders must pull your credit report every time you apply for credit. If you are shopping around with different lenders for a lower interest rate, there is generally a grace period of about 30 days before your score is affected.

Finding Home Loans and Refinancing With Bad Credit

Even after you reverse the downward spiral of your credit history, you might need to tell a prospective lender that there may be some signs of bad credit in your report. This will save you time, since he or she will look at different loans than he might otherwise.

If bad credit continues to dog you, the FHA loan programs may be your ideal option. With down payments as low as 3.5%, Americans with good and bad credit have been getting into their first homes with these federally insured loans since 1934.

Why Were You Turned Down for a Loan?

Bad credit is just one of many reasons you may be denied a loan. If you are still having trouble getting a loan, ask your lender why. Chances are it will be one of these reasons for rejection:

    • Overextended credit cards: If you miss payments or exceed your limit, that s a red flag to lenders.
    • Failure to pay a previous or existing loan: If you have defaulted on other loans, a lender will think twice.
    • Bankruptcy: Filed for bankruptcy in the past seven years? You might have trouble getting a loan.
    • Overdue taxes: Lenders check your tax payment record.
    • Legal judgments: If you have a judgment against you for such things as delinquent child support payments, it could harm your credit.
    • Collection agencies: Lenders will know if collection agencies are after you.
    • Overreaching: You might be seeking a loan outside what you can reasonably afford.

Maybe they have fixed whatever the problems were but i am not ready for risks.

I asked my friend. we know about the school on fairground street. it’s bad. we haven’t heard of world outreach. The school my friend is thinking about going to says tht clinicals are done in jamaica. have you heard of any schools like that in atl? my friend says she found out about the school from her cousin in decatur. it just seems really wierd that someone would study here and then go all way to jamaica for clincial. anyway, let me know if you know of any of those schools.

World Outreach Medical Institute is affiliated to a school in Jamaica, another one in downtown Atlanta is also affiliated to a school in Jamaica. I have concluded that it is better to go to a regular school and do all the pre-reqs and get an admission for Nursing. I am doing the pre-reqs and they are not as bad as i thought, i am actually acing them, tell your friend to give it a try instead of losing money with such private schools.

    Bankruptcy Records

Bankruptcy Voice Case Information Systems (VCIS)
Getting bankruptcy records could not be any easier, but some people do not know how to do it and actually pay money for this information. All one has to do to get bankruptcy information is to call the bankruptcy court’s automated VCIS number and run a search by either case number, name or social security number. The automated system will then read off information about the case. Some courts have all of this information available online, as well. Links to bankruptcy court web sites and VCIS phone numbers are all included for you here. The VCIS lines are currently (as of this writing) free to use.

    PACER Service Center
This is the Federal Judiciary’s centralized registration, billing, and technical support center for electronic access to U.S. District, Bankruptcy, and Appellate court records. If you need more detailed information than what is provided on the voice system, just get a PACER account. Note that there is a charge to use PACER, though.

    Links To Bankruptcy Courts
To get bankruptcy information, first go to the applicable state court page. From there, it should be easy to write/telephone for information on how to obtain the records.

Bankruptcy Data provides instant access to information on thousands of business bankruptcy filings from over 80 federal bankruptcy districts.

    Bankruptcy, Public Records and Privacy
There is a lot of information in this letter of the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse and the Electronic Frontier Foundation presented to the U.S. Department of Justice.

    Bankruptcy Resources On The Web
There are helpful links that contain information about bankruptcy and bankruptcy law and links to bankruptcy organizations, committees and discussion groups.

    U.S. Bankruptcy Clerks’ Offices
These are links to web sites of bankruptcy clerks’ offices across the country. Contact information is listed for those without web sites.

    KnowX Bankruptcy Search
From KnowX: “Check the financial stability of businesses and individuals. Covering all bankruptcy districts in the United States, as well as Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, this search is an excellent scan of financial history.”

Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada
This site has a searchable database that contains a record of all bankruptcies and proposals filed in Canada from 1978 to date; tt also contains a record of all private and court appointed receiverships filed in Canada from 1993 to date.

Note: You can get a lot of information from bankruptcy records, which are considered to be public information. Basic bankruptcy information couldn’t be easier to get, and it can be done using the automated VCIS (Voice Case Information System) right over the telephone for free. The bankruptcy petition file will contain the person’s social security number, date of birth, current and former addresses, names of spouse and children, bank account information, employment history and benefit information, list of property and vehicles with VIN numbers, information about the spouse (including social security number, etc.) and more. The attorney’s name will also be listed. Any property that can be retained will also be listed. You will be able to search the bankruptcy files by name for an application. On the application will be a case number. Once you have the case number, you can retrieve the entire file.

    Wyoming – s DUI Guide #wyoming #dui, #wyoming #dwi #laws, #2012 #wy #dui, #drunk #driving #information

I just got arrested for a State of Wyoming DWUI / DUI charge. What happens next?

ISSUE ONE:The Wyoming Implied Consent / Administrative Per Se / Refusal Suspension Proceeding: Under Wyoming law, any person who drives or is in actual physical control of a motor vehicle upon a public street or highway in the State of Wyoming is deemed to have given consent to a chemical test or tests of his blood, breath or urine for the purpose of determining the alcohol concentration or controlled substance content of his blood. This is known as Wyoming s implied consent law.

Pursuant to Wyoming s implied consent law, your Wyoming drivers license (or your right to drive in Wyoming if you re not a Wyoming licensed driver) was most likely revoked for anywhere from 90 days to 18 months for failing or refusing a chemical (breath / blood / urine) test. This typically starts on the 30th day following your arrest.

Read your paperwork carefully. If you act within 20 days, you can request a hearing from the Wyoming DOT to challenge the proposed suspension. Speak to your Wyoming DUI attorney for more information about contesting your administrative (implied consent) license suspension.

ISSUE TWO:The Wyoming DWUI / DUI Criminal Case: Separate from the administrative license proceeding is the criminal charge either for driving while under the influence. Under Wyoming law, you commit the crime of DWUI if you drive or have actual physical control of any vehicle within Wyoming and you:

have a breath / blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08 percent or more; or

you are under the influence of alcohol to a degree which renders you incapable of safely driving; or

under the influence of a controlled substance to a degree which renders you incapable of safely driving; or

under the influence of a combination of alcohol and a controlled substance to a degree which renders him incapable of safely driving.

Note: A person younger than 21 years of age shall not operate or be in actual physical control of a vehicle in the State of Wyoming with an alcohol concentration of 0.02 percent or more. This misdemeanor offense is known as unlawful operation of vehicle by youthful driver with detectable alcohol concentration.

I mportant: The implied consent / administrative license revocation proceeding and the criminal DWUI / DUI case are completely separate from one another.

Will my Wyoming driver license be suspended or revoked?

RELATED TO ISSUE ONE ABOVE: Your Wyoming driver license (or your right to drive in Wyoming if you do not have a valid Wyoming license) may be suspended in the implied consent proceeding for failing or refusing a chemical test for alcohol and / or drugs. The revocation periods are outlined in the table below:

    Implied Consent Action

Again, you may challenge this proposed suspension if you make a timely hearing request.

RELATED TO ISSUE TWO ABOVE: If you are convicted of the DUI charge, your Wyoming license (or your right to drive in Wyoming if you don t have a valid license) for between 90 days and one year depending on your DUI / DWUI history.

What happens if I get caught driving while my license is suspended?

Under Wyoming law, you may not drive a motor vehicle on any public highway in the State of Wyoming at a time when your driver s license, from this or any other jurisdiction, or nonresident operating privileges are cancelled, suspended or revoked. Therefore, if you drive while your license is under suspension for failing or refusing a breath test or following a DWUI conviction, you commit a misdemeanor crime. Penalties include possible jail time and a fine. A second conviction for driving under suspension can result in a minimum seven day jail sentence.

I really need to drive. Will I be able to get a restricted license / hardship permit / occupational / conditional / probationary license?

You may be eligible for a probationary license. However, a probationary license can only be issued for the first DWUI. If it is your second or subsequent DWUI, within the past five years, you cannot get a probationary driver s license.

If you refused a chemical test or are suspended for a DWUI conviction, you may eligible for an ignition interlock restricted license after serving at least 45 days of your suspension. Speak to your Wyoming lawyer for more information on the IID restricted license.

What is the difference between a DUI, DWUI, DWI, OWI, OVI etc.

These terms are all acronyms that refer to the crime commonly known as drunk driving. Different states have different names for the crime based on how their statutes are phrased. For example, in Colorado . the terms DUI (driving under the influence) and DWAI (driving while ability impaired) are used. In Michigan . OWI (operating while intoxicated) is commonly used. Insurance Quotes without Personal Information Online

If you’re looking to purchase a new vehicle or insure a car that you already own, browsing around for auto insurance quotes can be a tricky thing. These days, it’s hard to trust websites with your information and that’s why your best bet would be to avoid sites that ask for too much information. What’s too much information? Well, applying for auto protection, you’ll come across legitimate websites that ask you for appropriate info that can allow them to better assess you as a customer. The vehicle insurance company will need to know your name, date of birth, zip code, type of car and a phone number where you can be reached. Other sites that require you to enter more information, such as a driver’s license number and social security number could very well be scammers. You don’t really know who you can trust.

    Checking Out Insurance Companies

Auto insurers check you out, so why not check out the vehicle protection agencies you are looking to get an estimated premium from? As you’re browsing around the different websites, if you feel that they are asking for too much information, simply take down the information about the company and do research on them. If they don’t provide a number or address, you should definitely be weary. The Better Business Bureau, also known as the BBB, is a great place to start. They have a website where you can look up companies by their names and locations. There you will find out if they are registered members of the Better Business Bureau and/or if they have a complaint file. If you do happen to find one, check to see what type of complaints the car insurance company you’re looking up has and whether they have been resolved or not.

Another great way to check out vehicle coverage providers is to look them up on Google. There are various websites, like, that allow consumers to complain about various entities. You can look on those websites or you can simply type in terms like “auto protection carrier’s name” rip-off, “car insurer’s name” complaints or “vehicle insurance provider‘s name” scam. Likely you will be able to find some listings on the first page that relate to those keywords. If not, the car coverage carrier may be legitimate. Still check with the Better Business Bureau to see if they have any files, good or bad, on the insurance provider. Give the insurance companies a call as well. Speaking with them over the phone will give a better idea of who they are. Look up the company to see how long they’ve been in business, this will allow you to know if they are a fly-by-night car insurer or if they are reputable.

Searching for Car Protection Rates Without Personal Information

Looking for auto insurance rates is quite simple with the use of the internet and home computer. You can begin by searching around for insurance comparison websites that will match you up with various insurers and allow you to compare them side-by-side. When you’re looking through the premiums, make sure to look at all of the coverage that’s offered to ensure that you’re getting all the benefits you need for your situation. You want to make sure that you’re getting a good deal for the price you’re paying. If you feel like you don’t need that much coverage, you can easily lower the liability limits and increase the deductibles. This will also cause your insurance quote to drop down a bit.

As you are searching through the comparison site, make sure that you are not getting caught up in a scam to steal your information. Don’t reveal more than your name, birth date, car info and zip code (quotes are checked by location).

Buying Car Premiums Without Personal Information

At, you will receive a quote based on the information you’ve given us. In order to adjust the car insurance rate you get, you can mess around with the deductibles and liability limits. The higher your deductibles, the lower your rates and the lower your liability limits, the lower your insurance quote becomes. Just keep in mind though, the deductibles you choose, you are required to pay upfront and out of your own pocket. It is very important that you look over the contract of your auto insurance policy to see exactly what you’re getting. If there is anything that you don’t understand, you can speak with one of our representatives to ask questions or clarify anything you see on the contract.

It is important that you check with your state vehicle insurance regulations to ensure that you’re buying enough to legally drive around. Each state has minimum requirements for body and damage liabilities. You should be able to find the website for your state’s auto coverage requirements online. They offer this information freely to the public.

At, we don’t ask you for any personal information, such as your social security or driver’s license number. The information we do request will determine what your auto protection quote will be. We believe in building trust with our clients, so we don’t make them feel uneasy about dealing with us.

Getting insurance quotes without personal information requirements is very simple when you have access to the web.
