    Aspiring fashion designers can enroll in formal education programs at the undergraduate or graduate level. These programs can be found within art institutes or four-year colleges and universities. The four notable schools profiled here include a renowned art and design college and fashion institute based in New York City’s famous garment district.     Columbia College is a private, urban college that offers a BA and a BFA in Fashion Design.
