Vehicle Trade-In Value from Black Book

Widely known and highly respected in the industry, Black Book is an online leader in offering timely, independent and accurate used car values. To learn the Black Book appraisal value of your Vehicle, simply follow the directions below. It’s as easy as 1..2..3!

Getting a Vehicle Trade-In Value from Black Book

Appraising your Vehicle’s trade-in value isn’t an exact science. Trade-in values will vary between regions, times of the month – even between dealerships. For example, the used car manager at a Mercedes-Benz dealership may give you less on your used Kia than the used car manager at the Kia dealership, because it’ll be harder for him to sell.

Using Black Book to Appraise Your Vehicle

Knowing your trade-in’s value before you visit your new car dealer is essential. If you don’t know how the industry appraises cars, you won’t be able to effectively negotiate your current car’s appraisal value. So use the Black Book Appraisal form and be sure you’re totally honest when indicating the condition of your trade-in. You’ll get a fair estimate of your used car’s value that you’ll be able to take to the dealer.

Note: The price range shown on your final Black Book Appraisal form is a guideline. The dealer will confirm a final price for your car based on their analysis of market trends and vehicle condition.

What Is the Kelley Blue Book Value of My Car, auto book value.#Auto #book #value

What Is the Kelley Blue Book Value of My Car?

Although the Kelley Blue Book dates to the 1920s, it didn t publish a consumer edition until 1993. By 1996, consumers could visit the company s website, KBB.com, to find values for new and used cars. You can still calculate values from book editions, but it s easier and quicker to use the site s online tools, which give you a free value in just a couple of minutes. There s no guarantee that you ll get this exact price for your car, but it s a useful starting point and negotiating tool when you sell, either to a private party or dealer.

    Find a Car s Value on KBB.com

You can check the value of your vehicle on the KBB website by selecting the Check My Car s Value button on the home page. To start your valuation, enter data in various steps to help the site identify pricing factors as precisely as it can. For example, the tool asks you to:

The site has a list of specific guidelines in the Choose a Condition section to help you decide the condition of the vehicle. As an overview, you should use Excellent if your car looks new and is in top operating condition. If your only issue is a few small cosmetic defects, classify it as Very Good. Good cars don t have significant mechanical problems but may have some cosmetic defects that can be fixed, while Fair cars have cosmetic problems that need repair or even replacement. Note that the site doesn t give valuations for cars that don t at least meet its Fair condition requirements.

Once you ve entered all your details, the site goes to the Your Blue Book Value page, which shows you a range of prices for both private sales and dealership trade-ins. The Private Party option shows you one price for each condition classification; the Trade-in to a Dealer option also shows a low-high range. Valuations start at Fair and go up in stages through Good, Very Good and Excellent. The better the condition of the car, the higher its value.

Find Kelley Blue Book Values for Older Cars

Blue Book values on the Kelley website officially go back 21 years. If your car is a year or so older than that, check the site anyway, as it sometimes has a couple of extra years in its database. For example, as of April 2015, you can search for vehicles back to 1992.

To find the value of an older car, you can t use the website tool. However, the company produces a collector s edition of the Blue Book that covers vehicles that are more than 21 years old going back to 1946. You can subscribe to the book, buy a single copy or request a certified copy of a specific value by calling Kelley s customer service department on 1-800-258-3266.

Appraising your used car’s trade-in value isn’t an exact science. Trade-in values will vary between regions, times of the month – even between dealerships. For example, the used car manager at a Mercedes-Benz dealership may give you less on your used Kia than the used car manager at the Kia dealership, because it’ll be harder for him to sell.

Black Book vs. Kelley Blue Book

Both Kelley Blue Book and Black Book gather thousands of data points from auctions, banks and leasing companies all over the country. Black Book® updates its online information daily while Kelley Blue Book or KBB, updates its information weekly.

Traditionally dealers have relied upon Black Book for determining how much they should pay for trade-ins. If you plan to sell your car yourself, you’ll want to also research the Kelley Blue Book® Private Party value, which is typically higher than trade-in value.

Ultimately, whether it’s Black Book or Kelley Blue Book used car values, your trade-in value is dependent on several factors including make, model, year, condition, accessories and mileage.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE. The people that work there and run the place are scam artists. Bought a car from there , the sales guy knew absolutely nothing about the car to begin with ,but was told everything worked great. Found out ac didnt work so they told me to bring it back and theyd fix it. It took their “mechanic ” well over 6 hours to fix it. And how did he fix it ,he ran a wire from.

Was surprised to see nothing but negative comments when i had nothing but an excellent experience. Well only people who had bad experiences leave reviews anyways. So i decided to be one positive reviewer for these guys. I bought my 16 yr old his first car from these guys about a month ago now and we haven’t experienced one problem out of it. We dealt with Dwight and he was very nice and.

Blue Book Prices, Kelley Blue Books – Car Value, Kelly Blue Car Prices, NADAguides, blue book auto.#Blue #book #auto

    NADAguides vs Kelley Blue Book

NADAguides (National Appraisal Guides) and Kelley Blue Book both have a long history devoted to providing consumers as well as businesses with accurate vehicle pricing information. Proudly serving buyers and sellers of various vehicle types, both companies calculate and publish vehicle values based on proprietary methods.

    National Appraisal Guides (NADAguides)

When we attempt to value a used vehicle we use a number of data points. These data points include, but are not limited to, actual wholesale transactions (around 80% of the market with our relationship with NAAA) and retail transactions (through our relationship with J.D. Power and their PIN data which is obtained their actual Dealer Management Systems), as well as asking price information from www.autotrader.com. In addition, we have data from various OEMs and wholesalers and retailers of used vehicles that provide us the amounts for which they paid and sold their vehicles. We also take into consideration MSRP, invoice, equipment assumptions, as well as supply and demand and other macro- and micro-economic factors and the competitive landscape of vehicles. Our retail value is what a person could reasonably pay for a vehicle at a dealer’s lot. Our values are designed and intended to assist users in performing their own valuation of a particular used vehicle. The process by which users of NADAguides determine valuation is inherently subjective. Individual vehicles may have an actual value that is higher or lower than the estimated values created by us.

NADA has been around for over 80 years and is the premier valuation guide in the used vehicle industry. Customers include, but are not limited to: dealers, wholesalers, rental car companies, insurance companies, lending institutions, OEMs, government agencies, as well as individual consumers. We attempt to create the most accurate, market-reflective, unbiased vehicle values and we believe we do so each and every time one of our products is presented to the outside world.

NADAguides is additionally known as a credible source for pricing outside of the automobile industry. Comprehensive pricing data is also published for powersports, recreational vehicles, boats and manufactured housing.

Finding Local NAPA Auto Store Close to You

Finding local NAPA auto store is one of the easiest things that you could do. NAPA auto stores have a variety of parts for different makes and models of vehicles. This means that there are some major benefits to shopping there instead of a small scale auto store.

The first stage to finding your local store is to find NAPA online. You can do this through a quick search with your favorite search engine. You will come up with a few options to start your search, such as NAPAautocare.com and NAPAonline.com. If you live in Canada, it is worth searching the Canadian online store at NAPAcanada.com.

Whichever website you choose, you will need to go the section to find a location. This is usually offered as a small link at the top or bottom of the page, but there are some NAPA websites that will have it specifically in the toolbar to make it much easier. Click on the link, wherever you find it.

Now you will come up with four options for the types of stores that you are looking for. If you are looking for parts to your vehicle, you will need the NAPA Auto Parts section, but you also have the choice of NAPA AutoCare Center, NAPA AutoCare Collision Center and NAPA Truck Service Center. You will need to make the decision over the one that is needed before you click.

There are at least 6000 auto part stores available around the country, which makes this category the easiest out of the four. You will be able to find parts for any type of vehicle, including cars, lawn and even RVs. The AutoCare center is for repairs on a mechanical level. All mechanics offer high quality work and there is a warranty included. The AutoCare collision center is for those who are looking for repairs after going through an insurance company. The staff will work to get the vehicle to the condition that it was before the accident. Finally, the truck service is for truck owners, whether for repairs or maintenance.

Once you know on the type of center that you need, you either need to click on it or select it from a drop down menu just above the list. You will then need to input your address, with the city and state that you are in and also your zip code. Instead of just finding local NAPA auto store close to you, there will be a list of the closest ones to be able to choose from.

Once you ve entered all your details, the site goes to the Your Blue Book Value page, which shows you a range of prices for both private sales and dealership trade-ins.
